The St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS) is pleased to announce that it will be collaborating with the Ministry of Tourism to enhance the quality and safety of taxi services and tour vehicles within our destination by establishing comprehensive standards.
The Bureau is therefore forming a technical committee dedicated to developing and implementing guidelines that will elevate the standards of transportation services in the tourism sector.
The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure the safety, reliability, and overall quality of taxi services and tour vehicles, thereby enhancing the experience of tourists and promoting the reputation of our country as a top-notch tourist destination.
The technical committee will comprise public and private sector representatives who are experts in tourism, transportation, vehicles, taxi, and tours. This collaborative effort aims to gather diverse perspectives and expertise to create comprehensive and practical standards.
